This goof ball is the reason we're parentless for the rest of the week. Mom and Dad left to take Andrew and all of his stuff up to school this morning. I'm really going to miss him.
We're good kids while Mom and Dad are gone. Doing school and everything. ;-)
Aaaaaaand, we have a little fun too. August this year has felt like September. It was cold this morning.
And dinner tonight was delicious. We had a friend over who's going back to school at the end of this week. It's so fun making dinner for someone coming over. I made roast chicken, green beans with shallots, Margaret made ice cream and she and I made peach crisp. It was amazing.

Oh, I wish I was there. I haven't experienced cold in a long time. I think I forget what it means. I hope the goof ball doesn't get too lonely at college. By the way, your expression is so silly in the fourth one down. :P
