May I learn to rest in You.

I wait for the Lord, my soul waits,
and in His word I hope.
-Psalm 130:6

Though Satan should buffet, though trials should come,

Let this blest assurance control,
That Christ has regarded my helpless estate,
And hath shed His own blood for my soul.

Through all of this work, all of this difficulty, these long days and late nights; through these papers, books, and lectures; in every morning, every afternoon, every night, this life is all for one purpose: to know God so that He might be glorified. May my soul find rest in Him alone. May I place all of my trust, my hope, and my life in Him alone, that God may be all in all.

No matter what happens; come trials, suffering, and pain; through it all, my Savior's blood has brought me to Himself, and He will sustain me until I see Him in glory. Oh, It IS well with my soul.

Whom have I in heaven but you?
And there is nothing on earth that I desire besides you.
My flesh and heart may fail,
But God is the strength of my heart
And my portion forever.
-Psalm 73:25-26

Yes.

I loved holding your hand and praying today.
God's going to work through this low point too.

This hymn is sweet and one of my favorites. Because of Christ's shed blood, it is well with our souls, no matter what the circumstances. Hallelujah!
