Christmas Break So Far

Isn't it ironic how breaks are always busier than school? Our has been a perpetual party. It's been great.
We spent a lovely Sunday afternoon at the Bigley's listening to piano pieces, speeches and poetry recitations:
Later that evening, Cameron taught Delaney some swing dance moves. He's quite the expert:
We spent the next day with our dear friends Hannah and Leah Miller who were visiting from Ohio. We had such fun shopping together.
We went bowling:
Christmas Eve, we had 65 people over for dinner. That day (and the two days before) was spent making food. One of the final tasks was making these gumdrop creations:
Christmas day was actually quiet and peaceful:
This past Saturday, we went to Princeton, New Jersey (before the shopping trip at King of Prussia) to see Jonathan Edwards' grave. We saw Aaron Burr's also:
Last night, before going to yet another party, the sunset was gorgeous.
It's been a great break, and there are more events still on the list. :)
(End discombobulated post. There was no other way to do it.)

Sounds like ya'll have been having a wonderful break, Shannon. I'm thrilled you got to see Edwards' grave. I bet that meant a lot to Andrew who took the class.

Krista, I guess we didn't take any photos. And you would have looked like you only got 4 hours of sleep the night before..oh wait. You did, didn't you? ;)

I'm so glad you're enjoying your holiday break! Wow, 65 guests for Christmas Eve dinner, I cannot even imagine how busy things were at your house! Growing up we'd have 10 people for Thanksgiving and Christmas and it was fairly chaotic. Hope 2009 treats all of you well!
