Kiptopeke Part II

I actually didn't take a whole lot of photos (shocker, huh?), but here are a few more.
Most evenings in the yurt were quiet and full of reading and schoolwork or just sitting, listening to the wind. And we went to bed so early every night. I couldn't believe it was 8:15 when I felt like going to bed the last night we were there.
Some times, it did get a little boring. But Cameron and I entertained ourselves by writing messages with Boggle. (We both hate the real way to play that game.)
And we made faces.
Cameron was so thrilled to hold a Robin.

This bird is an Odell favorite. They're tiny and so adorable.

wow...I miss you all so much now. I love Kiptopeke in November--wind and rain rock--and it's hard to think of you all there without me. :'(

But I'm so glad you all had a good time. I love the Kinglet pictures, your hatred of the real Boggle rules, and the picture of the Sanderling. Props on that pic, it's gorgeous.

I love the new Kiptopeke photos, especially the group picture - I miss everyone there so much! Everyone looks just like I remember them, though I must say Mr. Cameron looks a bit more grown up. I can't believe it's been a year since I've seen the Kiptopeke crew.

Thanks Shan...your pictures look amazing as always. They really made me think about all the fun times we had there two years ago right before Andrew left for college. It is hard to believe that this time it will be you, EA, and Derek going to college.....oh how soon that is...sigh! Oh well, atleast I enjoyed looking at your pictures:)

Wow, Shannon,
A lot of these pictures are incredible. The sanderling one especially is professional. Great work. I miss Kiptopeke also. :(

If your cousins are coming to PA,
make sure you bring Evan to church. I want to see him again.
If not, tell him I said hi.

Beautiful photos, Shannon! Isn't it nice to "escape" for a little and simply enjoy nature and family? Looks like you had a wonderful time. :D
